The face behind Caresse Babyspa

Mandy Gast was born in 1990 in Eindhoven and has been the proud owner of Caresse Babyspa since December 12, 2020. When Mandy was born, her parents gave her the baptismal name "Caresse", which means caress. She didn't have to think long about the name of the baby spa, because caress is exactly what the baby spa is all about; Quality time with your baby!

From the age of 15, Mandy has always been actively engaged in making others happy and she finds it important to relieve people of their worries and to let them have a good time. For example, during her HAVO education, she was chairwoman of the student council and she supervised first-year students in their first year of secondary school. The school parties and the prom were also made possible by Mandy.

After HAVO she decided to follow the Hotel and Event Management course in which she worked for over 10 years. With the collapse of this industry due to COVID-19, Mandy decided to change course and focus on her other passion; the wellness industry!

The mother of her godchild talked about the limited range of activities to do with a baby and how happy she was that she had discovered a baby spa in Antwerp (!). Mandy went along once and saw how the baby enjoyed being able to move freely in warm water. It reminded her of her own rehabilitation process after a serious car accident, after which she had to learn to walk again using hydrotherapy. Mandy researched the baby spa concept and quickly came to the conclusion that this was tailor-made for her.

She retrained as a baby massage teacher, became a Dunstan Babytaal trainer, obtained her first aid diploma and followed various courses and training in the field of anatomy & physiology. Mandy is also director/owner of Dunstan Babytaal Nederland and makes an active contribution to a working group for hydrotherapy for babies.

Mandy loves what she does, and it shows! Hospitality, expertise and personal attention are paramount.
