Newborn babies make five common sounds from birth, each with a very specific meaning. A sound for hunger, a burp that is in the way, colic, discomfort and tiredness. These sounds are based on basic reflexes of a baby and therefore independent of the language that parents speak.


Recognizing a baby's needs early has great benefits:

During the 1.5 hour course you will receive an explanation of the different sounds and how to recognize them, you will receive tips on how to help with a stuck burp and intestinal cramps and you will receive an explanation on how to use the baby diary.


The course can be followed one-on-one or in groups, both online and in person.

  • For parents who are still expecting (from 35 weeks)
  • For parents with a newborn baby up to 4 months old
  • for caregivers, such as grandparents
